Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement

By renting a vehicle from Car Jiji, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Car Jiji, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Provide a valid form of identification (e.g., passport, ID card).

3. Rental Period

The rental period begins at the time of vehicle pick-up and ends at the agreed return time. Late returns may incur additional charges.

4. Vehicle Use

The vehicle may only be driven by the individuals named in the rental agreement. The vehicle must not be used for illegal purposes, to carry passengers for hire, or to tow other vehicles. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was rented, excluding normal wear and tear.

5. Payment

Rental charges must be paid in full at the time of pick-up, including any security deposit if applicable. Additional charges may apply for late returns, additional mileage, or damage to the vehicle.

6. Insurance

Basic insurance coverage is included in the rental price. Additional insurance options are available and can be purchased at the time of rental.

7. Fuel Policy

The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, a refueling charge will apply.

8. Breakdown and Accidents

In the event of a breakdown, contact Car Jiji immediately for assistance. In the event of an accident, contact local authorities and Car Jiji immediately. A police report may be required.

9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time are free of charge. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

10. Privacy

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from the rental agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kenya.

12. Modifications

Car Jiji reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
